Qualifications
Regional Human Resources Manager
(Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or
- Seven (7) years of experience in the HR field, or
- Any similar combination of education and experience
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, to include benefits plans
- Understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Must possess ability to communicate across all levels of management and staff in order to effectively exchange information, ideas and answer inquiries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, desk top publishing tools, PC’s, printers, facsimile and other office machinery
- Effective problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of the transportation industry a plus
- Must be able to develop and foster a team environment
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
- Must be able to travel 40% - 70% of the time
- Must be able to multi-task
